The “hit” of the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, this irreverent comedy centers on Dan Marschz (Steve Coogan) a failed actor turned high school drama teacher who still harbors ambitions and passions. But when his latest theatrical adaptation of a popular film—Erin Brokovich—is dismissed by the 9th grade drama critic and his department is targeted for closure, Dana concocts a sequel to Hamlet, a musical theatre extravaganza that disdains both political correctness and dramatic credibility.
